Transportation
There's a lot of bicycles used in Beeston, as well as the usual walking. They have a few motor vehicles, too, mainly used for making deliveries. The seaport is another major means of transportation, just on a larger scale. They've got several boats that go up the river, too, connecting them to places like Thornvale.

There's a local paper called the Beeston Buzz. It focuses mainly on local events, but there's occasional stories from out of town.

Topography
It's in a fertile valley surrounded by rolling hills. There's a river that bisects the town. They have a drawbridge in place so the larger boats can pass through while the town remains connected.
