Physical Description
Small, strange creatures that hide their faces with rough masks. Nobody has reliably seen what they look like under their masks. They carve their masks from the skull they were created in.
They are considered one of the most dangerous monsters to encounter because of their ability to take over bodies and use them as puppets using their magic.
They do not eat in their natural forms.
Magic and Abilities
Limulenth are capable of using their blood as a tool thanks to their unique powers with blood. Their blood, souls, and magic are all tied together and are impossible to separate. Because their magic is tied in with such a base function for them, they are very specialized creatures and can only truly develop new paths for their powers once they find a puppet.
First, it is critical for a Limulenth to find another living creature they can take over. There have been a few reports of robots being targets, but all recorded take-overs by limulenth of robots have ended in the destruction of both the robot and the monster.
It is important for the limulenth to get the other creature to let down their guard around them.

Diet
Limulenth are created through a process of genetic mixing and gestation that takes place within a dried and sealed skull, which acts as an egg. The actual ritual involves blood mixing and the use of the limulenth magic and works no matter what form the parents are currently in.
Reproduction
In their natural forms, their skin is paper-like in texture and always dull and muted. It ranges from greyish blue to greyish purple. Nothing about them stands out. They have an uncanny habit of fitting in with the background and not being noticed right away. The cloak they wear is stitched together out of found objects such as scraps of cloth, leaves, and trash that has blown its way into the forest.
A limulenth begins its life with a set amount of physical energy which does not increase until it finds its first puppet.
