The Demon of Weather. His true form is ENORMOUS so he uses this smaller more manage form to talk to people
Personal History
He was created a long time ago, a human weather witch by the name of Demo used her limited power over the weather to combat a truly chaotic and terrifying storm. the result of this was a little chaotic puff. He lacked full sentience from the start due to the nature of his creation and ended up causing a lot of problems due to the resulting lack of control, causing a lot of problems for Demo, up until a theif decided to do something for the greater good of everyone, taking this demon and the fan used to combat it's storms that demo had created and dumb it into hell. it went horribly foe everyone involved but is the thing that helped cinema gain some awareness of his surroundings. the theif was apprihended, and cinema was returned to Demo, who took the theif to work for her as penance for his crime, thus Einar came to live with them. Eventually Cinema came into his own and got a handle onto his rather interesting aspect. He remained with Demo (and einar on and off) until the woman's death at which point, after accidentally hurting einar in a fit of grief he gave him to a nearby village and fled the area entirely, seeking out a place that he could remain and not effect his surroundings too much. he found a large mountain near the middle of lith and made his home there. The torrential downpour that went on for a few years, completley changing the landscape. this created a resivoir and made the land habitable, and soon enough humans moved in and founded the town of Merrily. Cinema was a regular fixture in the town thanks to Einar and later his daughter Dema, and was favored by marrily up until his sealing. As a result of sectioning himself off from the mass of his body, only a small portion of himself containing his actual conciousness was able to be sealed, but the result was his body going wild on it's own creating a horrifying never ending storm that racked the mountain for many, many years. Eventually explorer Linford climbed up the mountain and saw fit to free the demon. cinema joined with the rest of himself and the storm straight up stopped, then left, when he went with linford to try and catch up on what had been happening when he was sealed. he eventually returned, and remained there until a young man named Winston decided it would be a great idea to climb the mountain. after failing to scare him off, cinema let the man stay and has since gotten very attached to him. As a result he actually leaves the mountain a fair bit now, with mixed results.
Abilities and Powers
Being a demon, Cinema has the power to filter chaotic energy, his own particular method is utilizing the chaos found in a violent storm. he can control all forms of weather due to his massive body changing the climate of any area he inhabits. as it's tied into his very being, his emotions tend to effect the climate around him. this means he tends to change the weather with his mood, and his mood reflects the weather. it's all interconnected.
He figured out how to split off his main consciousness into a smaller form and that is the extent of his natural ability to change forms. he might just not be going about that right. regaurdless if he's whole or in sections, the whole of his body is under his command.
Upon being cursed by a pair of glasses, he recently has been stuck in a completely human form, and has been struggling to adapt to that with some sucess.
Cinema, like all demons only has one eye, both his forms are fairly similar, just on vastly different scales of size.
Personality
Cinema isn't much like other demons as a whole, being raised solely by humans he was left with almost a completely human like way of thinking and behaving to an extent. He's ultimately a clever and caring person, aiming to use his powers in a way that won't hurt anyone and taking great care in concidering how his actions can effect people.
Background
Winston: Though he initially tried to scare Winston away (and ended up paralyzing him with fear instead, thus getting stuck with him) Cinema has grown very fond of this man, going out of his way to make his mountain as comfortable for a human to live in as he can. recently he was hit with the realization that winston, much like demo, will die leave him one day, and this really hurts to think about, but is also out of his hands, even though he was offered a way to stop it, he believes that it's winston's choice. He really enjoys the time he has with winston though, and Winston is currently the most important person to Cinema.
Orbit: Since Orbit is Demo's current incarnation, and the spitting image of her, she's caused cinema quite a bit of unintentional grief. even more so once he got stuck as a human. she helped him through that turbulant time and he's gotten suckered right back in to treating her like she's his mom. she seems to like it though, so all is well? he wants to help pull out the weather prowess he knows she possesses which has led to him giving her all of Demo's research. He's keeping the fan though.
Marielle: he appreciates murielle's straightforward nature and her willingness to explain and help him take care of winston better. it's just. really helpful.
Lonnie: This guy has helped Cinema out of a couple of occasions, including getting his memories back in full. he's pretty grateful.
Linford: Being the one who released the demon from his prison, he's got an interesting bond with linford and spent a good deal of time traveling with the man. Linford is one of the few people with one of the crystal's from cinema's prison, and is free to call cinema with it whenever he needs a giant storm demon
Dema: Einar's daughter, and Cinema's too, pretty much. Dema was an orphan in merrily that einar stumbled into and adopted almost on the spot, much to cinema's chargin. later on once they actually had the means to care for a child. they properly took her in. She became the third weather witch and truly started a legacy of them in Merrily. though she grew up in the mountain, she eventually moved back down into the town once she had grown up.
Einar: This guy has been a LOT of things to cinema over the course of his life, from kidnapper, to enemy, to best friend, to partner. They both built a life together on the mountain, and were very happy for the time that Einar was alive. Being Demo's apprentice he was officially the heir to the title 'Weather Witch' and the fan Cinema currently has originally belonged to him.
Demo: The Weather Witch, essentially Cinema's mother. She's responsible for creating and raising him, and he owes a great deal to her, but laments that he wasn't sentient enough to make the most of her time when he had it, and was quite torn up by her passing.
