An intelligent race that lives in the deserts of Lith. They inhabit one of the few monster cities that exist, though it’s mostly underground. their really wary of outsiders.
Diet
they eat a lot of roots and things they grow underground, along with insects and such. they aren't very picky eaters. They have managed to cultivate some intresting plants themselves however.
Magic and Abilities
the tail contains most of the magic a desert mouse possesses, and is thus extremely valuable, and vital to the mouse's survival. the tail end itself is incredibly hard and solid, able to smash through just about anything when the magic is in use. not to say that the mice only use their magic for destructive purposes, some have been known to use them as sort of divination tools, much like a crystal ball, mainly to find water veins in the desert. though this is a lesser used ability, it does possess a lot of yet untapped potential for the species as a whole.
Culture
the species houses one of the last remaining monster cities, thus has a wide culture within their subterranean walls. they tend to be very picky with who they allow into their domain as a result of the current world affairs. their culture is diverse and has a leadership consisting of a monarchy.

as they live pretty much exclusively in lith's desert the species as a whole has adapted large thick ears that regulate their internal temperature. they have a compact structure that allows for quick, precise movement and fast reaction time to their surroundings.
Biology
Being Mice they naturally have a small stature with large expressive ears. They tend to have lighter colors ranging from red to yellow and everything in between. Eyes however can be a myriad of colors. the most defining feature these critters have is a large wreaking ball like tail, which can extend up to four times the length of the mouse itself. The tail contains most of their magic to accomplish this, and if the tail is cut off the mouse usually perishes shortly after.
Physical Description
