A barren land that separates a large portion of the continent. Bandits love waiting here to attack the unsuspecting, so travel at your own risk.
Terrain is exactly what the name says: mud, mud, and mud. The crappy kind, too. You can't float a boat here, and you can't drive a car, and animals get stuck too. The land is very treacherous and if you don't know the right paths to take, you might end up getting swallowed by quickmud or falling into a sinkhole with a bunch of weird critters. Everyone knows not to go here, but for some reason, people still do. Probably because of all that precious mud. Nah, though, there's legitimately a bunch of treasure in here from all the years of natives stealing it off of trespassers. Natural resources are mostly untapped because of the difficulty, danger, and expense of doing literally anything here scaring companies away. Oh, and there are a bunch of monsters, though their numbers have been declining. Crabtaurs and lizards like this place.
