As told by Linford
A long time ago, in a kingdom far across the ocean, there was a queen who hated demons. I don't doubt she had an encounter with a particularly dangerous demon, or managed to find herself on the wrong end of their powers. Whatever happened to her, she made it her obligation to trap each demon and seal them away for all eternity.
Mind you, every demon is a dangerous creature, but, for her to seek to seal the entire population of a race...
It's a terrible and improbable goal. Not every demon lived among humans. A number kept to themselves, only hurting men and monsters when they stumbled into their territories. Hating these demons makes no more sense than hating the bees in the flowers or the mountain lions that hunt to survive. And yet, she did. No, we all did. One person cannot accomplish what she accomplished. The seeds of fear and hate towards a powerful race were already there, and we listened to her news and we agreed without a single question. Perhaps we are more to blame than anyone else.
A wise man does not take what he hears at face value. He questions it and finds the truth for himself. None of us were wise. If we were, demons like Cinema would have been left alone. He picked his mountain to keep away from others and give himself space to work in peace without destroying towns or cities.
I caution you not to fall into the trap so many of us fell for all those years ago. Keep hold of your caution, but don't judge a creature you do not know because of the stories you've heard and the fear that was sown a thousand years ago. There are better things to fear these days.
