Phil, Steve and Rob visit Coppice Lake for an afternoons fishing.
Steve try's bread on the surface, while Phil and Rob target the island margins with Boilies.
Rob also tried a zig rig for a while all to no avail.
3 blankers, although we weren't the only ones finding this afternoons fishing tough!
Plenty of fish seen on the surface and one angler certainly had the tactics right bagging a fair few.
This lake seems to be shadow of its former self. I guess it will be a while before we revisit this venue!
Steve did net and bank what appeared to be a distressed racing pigeon, although I'm not sure this counts?
I'm also not surprised it was distressed off all the pegs on all the lakes in all the world it ends up in Steve's!
The pigeon was last seen drying out in the sun a couple of pegs away. We hope it gets home safe.
