Rob and Steve head to Erdington Brook Section on the Middle Severn I search of a few Barble and Chub.
The afternoon starts off fine but persistent rain starts to fall later in the evening which makes the pegs quite treacherous.
Steve takes an early 6lb Barble (5:30) after jumping in a swim still being vacated by the previous angler who had been there since first light. He had taken two 4lb Barble and a Chub all day!
Before leaving Steve added an 8lb 7lb, 11lb His first double of the season, a 7lb a 7lb a 2lb Chub and a 12lb Barble to make his 2nd double of the season and session.
Rob only took 3 fish all Barble, a 5lb, a 13lb (his first double of the season) and a 4lb .
Slow hard fishing for Rob who was also suffering from a leaking Brolly, just to add insult to the long waits for a fish. the 5lb and 13lb came within 30 seconds of each other.
Still despite the rain the lads enjoyed the session and both took a double figure fish.
Steve took his on Boilie while Rob took his on Pellet of the Donkey Chocker Type.
