Rob and Steve head upstream from Bewdley for an evenings fishing at Trimpley below the Reservoir.
Steve catches first with a Boilie mid river a very nice Barble at 5lb. Rob looses his first a big fish which gives him the run around before snapping the line on a very explosive run.
Rob gets in to a another bite after a wait and takes a 8.5lb Barble on Pellet mid river.
Steve takes a 6lb Barble and then a 9lb 13oz Barble takes Steve's Rod, How do I know? Well Steve followed his rod in to the water and retrieved it, fish still on which he landed despite being a little wet up to the waist.
Before packing up earlier than planned Rob takes a Chub at 2.5lb and Steve takes 2 Chub both at 2lb.
Just to temp the lads and help with their dreams of big fish Steve did see a large pike in his swim which was also rammed with small fry up to 4 inches long? autumn Pike fishing maybe??
I'm sure they will be back at Trimpley before the season ends for both more Chub and Barble and maybe a Pike much later in the year.
Steve does seem to like spending time in the water, I remember France last year? LOL France 2017 is only about 55 days away too? Take a towel Steve!
