Rob Steve and Lyle head to Coppice Lake for a days fishing arriving around 9:am and staying till 6pm.
Steve is off the mark first, with a 19.5lb Mirror on a spicy sausage boilie. Lyle takes a 12lb mirror.
Steve takes the next one an 8lb on the same spicy bait, Lyle is in next with a 16lb common a very stunning fish I must say!
Steve finishes off the catch for the day with a 16lb common on a cheese bait.
It was a quiet start with very few fish being taken except for the guy fishing midway down the island opposite the car park who took best part of 20 fish.
Steve caught his first midday with a steady flow of fish through to 5pm ish. The fish were pairing and grouping prior to spawning, although I did not see any direct spawning in the margins I do believe its a mater of days away?
Rob Blanked but enjoyed the day out it was great fishing with Lyle even if he does carry far to much stuff! He has two visits to his syndicate water coming up this week which he is very much looking forward to.
Lyles 16lb common.
