Steve and Rod head to the Syndicate Lake for a bit of Autumn Carping.
The weather was light rain in the morning but a fine afternoon where they even saw some sun.
Rob is first of the mark with a 16lb Mirror on TNT near the pipe, followed by a 16lb Mirror on Maggot from the near margin, Steve is next with a 16lb Common on a cranberry boilie.
The catch report is as follows:
16lb Mirror Rob TNT
16lb Mirror Rob Maggot
16lb Common Ste Cranberry
22.5lb Common Rob TNT
21lb Common Ste Cranberry
17.5lb Common Rob TNT
21.5lb Common Rob Maggot
22lb Common Ste Cranberry
20lb Common Rob Maggot
15lb Common Rob Maggot
18lb Common Ste cranberry
16lb Common Ste TNT
The maggot clip sure worked for Rob in his near margin, with most of the fish coming on this method late on in the afternoon.
Ste was fishing the point and the other rod did a bit of roving in open water, his right hand margin, and later on near the pipe joining Rob in a team approach.
5 x 20lb plus fish, made this a good day out. There are a couple of pic's in the Gallery!
