Dear Ed, All week there has been chitter chatter and conversations going back and forth by text, whatsapp and other inter-web services where the main topic of interest is Robs secret bait dip.
Do you know what the ingredients are?? Anonymous!
Dear Anonymous:
You should know by now that Rob takes his bait preparation and fishing very serious indeed. He also has an amazing ability to soak up information via a variety of sources and retain it recall it and apply it. He's a bit like that Benedict Cucumberpatch in that TV series Sherlock Holmes? He has a Mind Palace!
I don't know the exact ingredients or the amount of each used, but I do know he has the beads of sweat taken from the virginal women of the Burundi Tribe while they sit beneath the shade of a Baobab Tree as they work grinding corn used to make the traditional meal for their returning men folk who have been out hunting Wilder beast as an offering to the Tribal Chief.
He mixes this with the tears of a Tasmanian Devil which must be collected before its first birthday, and a few drops of the milk from a yak which has just given birth in the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains. He also adds the eggs of an ant only found in the rain forest at a secret location only known to the local Shaman priestess.
I do know he mixes them together at a temperature not exceeding 24 Deg Celsius before cooling the mixture and placing it in the horn of an Hereford bull which is then buried at a depth of 2.47 feet for two nights prior to and after the winter solstice.
Finally He adds a few drops of the blood from a disgraced Samurai Warrior who has stripped naked and whipped himself while kneeling as a punishment for his disgraceful act! The Samurai Warrior whips himself with a frozen kipper, It must be a kipper a mackerel or other fish will just not do!
You can add this to any bait to boost its potential? Give it a try and let me know how you get on!
