Wild Bore Looking for a meal!

Dear Ed,

I'm a little worried about Berty who is thinking of fishing Peg 8 at Clearwater this coming summer? Wild Bore have been seen in the peg and I've heard these can be quite dangerous?

Dear Steve, Thank you for your concerns and it's pleasing to know that team members do show concerns for each other even if at times it seems you all just want to ridicule and

laugh at and generally bait each other.

While the evidence is compelling and beyond question, and it is a fact that Wild Bore can be dangerous! I'm sure Berty will be able to look after himself and is clever enough to recognize the time to fight and the time to flight.

I've heard that he already completed a risk assessment and I myself saw him in Sports Direct buying a new pair of Niki running shoes. ( I guess this is in case he needs to make a quick get away?)

Berty is not easily spooked, frightened, or alarmed, after all he has actually shared a bivvy with Phil in the past!

I bet Berty is looking at this animal and thinking "Bonza Bacon and sausage on tap" not forgetting his favorite meal is Gammon Steak?

Bert also has connections with the ancient form of spiritualism known as "Shamanism".

Reviewing all that I know about Berty, Wild Bore and the fact that if I came face to face with Berty in the dark (I'd run as soon as I'd finished Crapping myself) I don't think you should worry too much!
