Phil and Steve go Arley.
Steve catches first with a 2lb chub but can't see Phil in the opposite peg due to trees.
Steve moves and doubles up with Phil with rain clouds blowing in and only one brolly between 'em no doubt!.
It rains heavy showers but this didn't stop Phil getting a barbel PB of 7lbs with a 4lb barbel to follow.
Again fishing was slow with sum anglers at the bank not catching anything all day.
Phil's happy christening his new 7' fishing rods even though the tip broke off one whilst setting up at the beginning if the day, he says his taking the tip back to where purchased for a replacement??
Thanks for the report Steve,
when the rivers are up and coloured as they were, the fishing can be hard. Conditions like this often require that time honored approach of taking something Big and Smelly with you! However can I point out that this means bait! Phil does not count in this instance?
Well done on the fish Phil however can I point out this is not a PB you have had an 8lb from the River Teme in the past. You TWAT!
However it is nice to see you out on the bank. I look forward to fishing with you myself soon.
It sure beats blanking!
