Rob Steve and Lyle head to Dormston Coppice Lake in pursuit of some late summer early autumn carp.
Lyle had 3 fish 15lb the best, Steve took 2 fish 12lb the best and Rob only manages the one fish at about 10lb.
it was however a pleasant enough afternoon weather wise. There were very few anglers around the lake and any that were there, were struggling to catch!
I guess the piking season will be upon us soon and the rivers prone to spates of flooding will, and by their very nature limit the opportunities to chase the barbel and the chub!
A poor days fishing is still better than sitting at home watching reruns of Columbo!
Keep the faith Lads good things come to those who bait!
