Steve and Rob take the day off work to go Carp Fishing at their Syndicate Lake.
Steve tries a boilie on one rod and a Maggot Clip on the other while Rob tries Maggot Clips on both of his.
Steve fishes the point, his margins and open water while Rob tries both of his rods in the margins.
The weather was kind no rain although it was a chilly breeze blowing.
unfortunately both were blankers, they put this down to the fact the air pressure was very high 1030mb and they both have a theory that high pressure kills small lakes?
Still a bad days fishing is still better than a good day at work!
They are keeping their fingers crossed they can get Lyle into the Syndicate this next spring. He is keen and would so fill his boots on these hard fighting and immaculate carp.
Quite possibly the last carp session of 2016. ROLL ON SPRING 2017.
