Rob, Steve and Mart head to Marlcliff for an evenings fishing on the Warks Avon. With the pegs at the weir taken they fish the car park swims.
Rob did hook one but it broke him in the lillie pads, Steve took 2 Chub and a Tench at about 4lb, while Mart took a first river Tench at about 3lb and a Bream which doesn't count.
Steve took his fish using CC Moores Boilies.
it was a pleasant day and great to speak with some fellow anglers who gave us some consistent information about this venue.
it was our first ever trip to Marlcliff.
