Rob and Steve head to Top Barn Farm at Hallow for a confidence boost before heading off to France.

Sunny spells give way later in the afternoon to overcast sky's dropping cooler.

Steve takes 16 fish from the 5lb to 10lb + Stamp. twice both his rods went off together boosting Rob's catch to 7 or 8.

This12 pounder caught on Steve's tackle is typical of the fish being taken.

Steve is determined it should count has his, but Rob's having none of it.

Steve was in to fish all day with only a brief spell of inactivity around lunch time.

One or two of the fish caught were showing signs of injury most likely to be down to the rough and tumble of spawning.

Mart you should have been there it wasn't the same without you.
