Dear Ed, is there any truth in the saying "Red sky at night shepherds delight" Etc
Inspired question Phil,
Having spent many a dusk and dawn fishing over the last 40 years, there is a general consensus among many of the team that a:
Red sky at night at night generally means the sky has a red tinge to it, rain is possible.
A red sky in the morning generally means there is a 50% chance of rain.
the only bit of this saying that can even remotely be considered accurate is that,
Minced Lamb and Potatoes really is Shepherds Pie,
Keeping watching the dawns and the dusk's whilst making a mental note of the prevailing conditions, experience is knowledge!
Keep em coming Phil!
