Rob and Steve head to Dormston for an afternoons and evenings fishing.1pm till 8:30pm
Its an overcast day and not that warm. There were 1 or 2 spots of rain later in the evening.
They begin fishing near the Car Park pegs, due to there being quite a few anglers there.
There are a lot of fish on the surface just milling around and one or two break the surface with a leap. I love to see Carp frolicking.
At around 4:30 two lads by the Island tip pegs on the right hand side of the lake head off home, so Rob and Steve relocate in to their pegs.
it is still very quiet fishing, few fish have been seen coming out.
Steve is fishing Vitalin to the island point, this tactic take two fish later in the day. 1 bream which doesn't count and a 20lb Carp.
his other rod is fishing a Boilie with a scatter approach about 20 feet of the tip and to the left.
Rob was trying a Cell Boilie to the island and a Strawberry Crafty Catcher Boilie further down near the bushes.
Rob had also tried a Zig rig when up near the Car Park as they were up near the surface but not even a knock.
Steve Pic can been seen in the Gallery.
