Steve and Rob spend an afternoon at Dormston.
Fishing at the back of the island, on the open bank, Rob tries worm on one rod, and a boilie on the other. (SS Boillies) both rods spend most of the time close in to the island.
Steve tries Steamie's on both rods with one cast to the island and the other in open water.
It was a warm spring day while the sun was out but as soon as it was behind the clouds it was a cold chilly breeze. They fished from 2pm till 7:30 and saw very few fish being taken.
Rob did take first and landed a 13.5lb common on the (SS) Boillie, Steve swapped his rods to this bait and fished them close to the island and took a 16lb Common near the end of the session.
Steve's fish did cause a bit of a todo, with a knit one pearl one attitude to being banked.
it was a pleasant day out despite the lack of sport!
