Steve spend a day at Arley in pursuit of the elusive Barble, he try's 4 different swims with no luck.
In his own words the river is too low, too clear, and it's too hot, in fact its been a long time since Steve has seen the river so low.
Rob suggests that during the height of the summer it might be prudent to fish the lower stretches of the river anywhere below Stourport on Severn.
the water is deeper and navigable to Stourport.
Steve agrees and thinks that with hindsight he should have tried Severn Stoke. if there is no significant rain our next trip to the river may well be down there in the lower reaches.
Lyle has been fishing at Holt Fleet Pools and had taken 3 fish to 15lbs on the Thursday 11th Aug 2016.
