Recruitment Policy of Shadow

We are a military order and as such, we follow strict regulations and rules.

Those of the Keep are held to these standards and all Aspirants will be

required to begin their trek toward Storm Keep in the same manner.

First, all will begin by sending a letter of introduction to Storm Keep -

this will briefly detail their background, why they seek Shadow, and their

future expectations. They must be of Drakkara or Necrucifer and lawfully

driven. This can be proven by observing their entrance into a sanctified

Temple of either deity or via a priest or eldritch. (Conversely, they are

free to find out the hard way should they lie, as the Keep wards will not

permit the entry of any not sanctified by Drakkara or Necrucifer.)

Second, their current situation will be determined:

*Those who Loner will be held to specified circumstances. At lower tiers, they
will gain at least 2-3 training cycles (levels) before the discretion of the

Recruiter observes the third requirement.

*At full training (base or reclass) and into the training of their

specialization (reclass), they will display a measure of survivalism or field

engagement for a period of time to be determined by the Recruiter.

*Those who do not Loner will be required to pay 75 eggs to enter Shadow (the

Dark Lord and Chancellor can determine to utilize clan funds to oversee this

payment at their discretion but the Aspirant will be required to await either and
the Arbiters).

Third, all Aspirants will recite the Code to the public (clan gossip channel)

as recited to them by the Recruiter - only then will official guilding

commence.

The Code

Independence breeds chaos.  Submit and be strong.

Death is patient.  It flows both from without and from within.  Be vigilant

in all and skeptical of all.

The Ritual of Sacrifice

Once guilded, the Aspirant will be led to the Spire to engage in the Ritual

of Sacrifice under the guidance of the Recruiter, who will then explain the
process and its purpose. This is intended to represent the departure from
who they were, all the old and their attachments to it, and their journey

into who they will now become in Storm Keep.

(This can be performed with a set of replacement
gear that is set before the altar and sacrificed.)

The badge of {DPetitioner{x of {DStorm Keep{x will then be presented to them to affix

appropriately and their Petitioner tasks will commence.
