Under 16s Unlucky against Grange

The Abbey Rangers under 16 team played Grangenolvin in the second round of the league yesterday in Ballykelly. This encounter was very much a game of two halves and by half time, the Rangers were well in the lead. However, in the second half, a strong wind down the pitch played right into Grange hands as it prevented the home side from creating any chances to score. The Ballykelly-Kildangan amalgamation did score a last-minute goal, but unfortunately it was not enough to see them over the line and the game finished 5-12 to 5-11 in Grangenolvin's favour.Rangers travel to our near neighbours Nurney in round three next Saturday.
