Kildangan's fourth round encounter against Rathcoffey ended in disappointment as Rathcoffey proved far the stronger, running out 3:15 to 1:03 winners.
Rathcoffey were far more clinical in their play and passed the ball around until the scoring chance was on, while Kildangan rushed our attempts at times and gave away needless frees. Rathcoffey, aided by a howling wind struck some lovely long range points in the first half, leaving Kildangan with lots to do after the break.
The second half was all one way traffic, as Rathcoffey showed why they are in second place in Division 3 with a comprehensive display of attacking football
This will be a game that Kildangan will want to forget as we never came to terms with the opposition or the windy conditions.
