Kilcock 3:10, Cúchulainn Gaels 2:03 {played in Kildangan}
The home side, despite fielding a depleted side due to injuries and illnesses held their own for most of this match and the score line certainly does not do them justice. All of the younger members of the squad got a chance to show their talents and held a strong Kilcock side to a draw at half time, with a goal and a point coming off the boot of Ryan Moran and all of Kilcock's scores coming from frees. Kilcock made best advantage of the strong breeze in the second half and sent in quick accurate ball into their forwards, who tagged on 3-6 to the Gaels 1-2, another goal coming from the chief poacher Ryan Moran and two great points from midfielder Cormac O'Mahony. Best for the Gaels were Evan Halford, Jordan Kaye and Conor Mullholland in the defence, Enda McSweeney and Ryan Moran in front of goals and the midfield pairing of Shane Smyth and Cormac O'Mahony. A shield playoff is next up for the Gaels - details To be Confirmed.
