Kildangan senior team ended our league campaign on a high note, securing a 6:11 to 1:9 win against Grange this evening. Playing with the wind in the first half, Kildangan opened our account with a Stephen Quigley point. It was all one way traffic from there as two goals by Stephen Quigley and one each from Eric O Hara, and John Murray and points by Eric O Hara, Robbie Murray, John Murray, Eoin Madigan and Brendan Abbey left Kildangan ahead by 4:07 to 1:02 at the break.
On the turnaround, Grange got the opening two points, However any hopes of a Grange revival were dashed by a Stephen Quigley point and an Eoin Madigan goal. Stephen added another goal and a point to his second half tally, additional second half points by Robbie Murray and John Murray made for a comprehensive Kildangan win in the final league game of 2013.
