Kildangan under 11's finished out our all-county league with a tight game against local rivals Ellistown on Thursday evening last, The game finished with a narrow Ellistown win, however both teams demonstrated brilliant football skills and were evenly matched throughout. Either team could have won with just a kick of a ball separating them at the end.
Over the course of this all-county league every Kildangan player gave 1000% and did their club proud. It's not all about winning, the spirit in which you play the game is equally important and in this regard no Kildangan player was found lacking at any time.
Well done to the team and to mentors Mel, Liam and John.
The South Board competition commences mid August, in the meantime there will be plenty of football for the U11 panel.
