Kildangan Under 11s got their league campaign off to a great start against Suncroft Thursday evening, recording a narrow victory against the visitors. Playing in front of a large crowd didn't seem to faze either team with some cracking scores and tenacious defending.
As stated, Kildangan came out on top, however the game could have gone either way as Suncroft missed a few scores that on another night would probably have been taken. Kildangan were more clinical in front of goal and took their points when they were on offer.
Well done to both teams for a spirited and sporting game.
