Tissue culture room rules
1. Everyone who wants to enter into culture room need to wear Lab coat in the culture room
2. Culture room's door should always be closed.
3. When leaving the culture room, please double check that the fridge’s door, incubator's door and clean bench’s door should be always closed.
4. Please never take culture room's stuffs out
5. Please turn off the microscope light after using it
6. Counting stuffs were kept in the cabinet next to microscope. Please keep them away
7. Incubator 1 is for those who have some culturing with engineering systems (i.e. in hydrogel) and incubator 2 is for those who are keep cell culturing (i.e. in flask). Please don’t mind if I take your sample into the trash can if I see it in wrong incubator.
8. Please check incubator’s markers such as O2 or CO2 and heating. If they show something wrong please let me know immediately.
9. Please have your own PBS with you name on it.
10. Also have your own medium in fridge with your name on it.
11. There is a time table sheet on the clean bench. Please indicate your name and hour you need to use it. This prevents overlap with next user.
12. Be sure when you think you are the last person to use the clean bench, turn off the blower, and turn on the UV light
13. Do not leave your stuffs like Medium bottle, pipette aid, falcon tube etc… inside the clean bench.
14. Clean up clean bench with 70% ethanol before an after use it.
15. Please use gloves when you need to work with clean bench and incubator
16. Re-charge pipette aid after using it
17. If you observe contamination in your culture sample, please inform Yu-Shik.
18. Culture room needs to be cleaned every 6 month with 70% ethanol
