Seila presented Journal Club on Lab Chip paper regarding 'Digital Microfluidic application for whole cell culture';

Sang Bok presented his work on EB-derived Cardiomyocyte-based Biosenor. Suggestion include 1) before go to drug testing, try to optimize the uniformity of EB formation in microwell; 2) try to correlate the size effect of EB on the beating frequency; 3) try to investigate whether the whole EB is beating as the same frequency as partial EB;

Dr. Jiang presented his work on the 2D microfluidic gradient. Suggestion include to achieve better linearity of the gradient, lengthen the mixing part and lower the height of the mixing part;

Jian Kang presented his work on surface-directed gradient generation. Suggestion include 1) correlate the thickness of Teflon coating on the gradient formation; 2) To disease the viscosity of the GelMA, try to heat the solution
