Masoud and Bonggeun,

Presenting cell-docking figures for the paper

Suggestions:

· Change the caption of Fig. 1 to make it easy to understand .. with 500um width.

· Fig. A, B to E is confusing, make it reasonable; C,D goes to F is confusing;

· Choose the same size of images for Fig. 1,

· Reduce the dead space, white space around it.

· The definition of downstream, center and upstream is confusing.

· Illustration on A instead of B

· Fig. 3 increase counts in the histogram

· Fig. 4 increase the data points in the simulation for the curve fitting

· Fig. 5 clarify the curvature and gap and velocity. Identify the trend.

· Fig. 6 straight line, and correlate the cell distribution with the shear distribution on the graph.

· The efficiency of cell-docking

Matthew and Du and Jiankang

· Add actual data for material gradient on Thermal material (collagen) freeze-dried

· Chemical crosslinked material (alginate) SEM freeze-dried

· AFM to quantify the mechanical properties HA-gelatin

· Two-dye gradients (rhodamine-BSA and Alexa-fluo) (try it briefly)

· Correlation experimental data with simulation

Sim:

· Be careful of the time line and well-planned figure
