This weapon family fired hardened bone projectiles by using rapid muscle contractions. Ammo could regenerate if given enough time and fire rate and regeneration could be improved by using adrenal packs or attachments, though this could shorten the life span of the weapon.

-Pistol
Common gun carried by most troopers as a side arm. Each cylinder had a capacity of 20 spines with one spine regenerating in 1 second. Extra cylinders could be carried if need be.
-Sub machine gun
Common CQB weapon, cylinders contained 30 spines with a spine regenerating after 1 second. HAd a quick fire rate of 4 shots a second.
-Shot gun
Fired out 12 spines in one shot though a half fire option was available which would only fire out six spines. Needed 2 seconds to regenerate the whole ammo block.
-Rifle
Akin to a main combat rifle, had the slightly better stopping power to a Kabuto. Contained 60 spines with .5 seconds needed to regenerate a spine. Had a fire rate of 3 shots a second.
-Sniper rifle
Extremely good range coupled with good damage potential. Cylinder contained 5 spines with 1 second needed to regenerate each.
-Spewer
Akin to a heavy machine gun or similar squad support weapon. A common choice for Shrouded troopers due to great range coupled with a very good fire rate. Each cylinder contained 200 spines with .25 seconds needed to regenerate 1 spine.
