“Darns hope I’m not stuck with 17th squad again… they really stunk up the small, little, closet we call living quarters… Really should try to get transferred to a larger troop carrying ship.”

Able to launch quickly from a starport the Gaia force Strike carriers could respond to problem situations quickly and acted as first responders. The Pixie class was the smallest of these strike carriers. It could launch from standby in as little as 15 minutes! The only drawback was the limited amount of mechs it could carry. Another disadvantage was the small amount of supplies onboard (3 days). The last disadvantage was that there was only enough room onboard to carry limited reloads (1 reload) of weapon pods for the warsuits. Despite this Grand alliance forces would use the flexible nature of this capital ship to contain small problems, scout out enemy formations and act as quick reinforcement.
