Adopting humanoid space fighter tactics, the collective manufactured the Suppressor class to fill the bomber role. It was quick, maneuverable and adequately armoured. Unfortunately the armament had much to be desired and even with a full rack of 30 bombs it could barely scratch the paint job on most conventional capital ships. Repeated strikes by multiple flights of Suppressors were required to achieve the desired effect that most factions could obtain with a single strike with much less fighter craft. The one good thing was the numbers that the Collective could field which in a long war of attrition can make up for any short coming when it came to raw performance.
