For the moment Alpha-555 was the only soul awake. Not that he would have company even if anyone else was not in stasis at the moment. Encased in several meters of armouring, in an isolated cockpit it was very unlikely anyone could even reach him. Apha-555 waited as the massive "strike package" known as an Emperor class planetary Strike fortress was in subspace transit nearing its final destination. Tasked with the toughest missions Emperors were expected to either overwhelm and turn the tide of battle or never be seen again. It was quiet a dubious honour to be assigned to a Emperor class. All he could do now was wait an be at the ready to awaken his comrades. His destination was unknown even to him, navigation was preset while he was in stasis and he was only briefed of his mission shortly before he was fully raised to consciousness. Planet XXXXXXX (No name was given to this planet only the censoring beep to blank out the name) was in a vital sector it was to be taken if possible. Opposition was expected to be heavy, the Collective was fighting for this territory as well and "Great White" was expected to make an eventual appearance. Only a few more minutes and then all hell would break loose...
All the Orcs were deployed, Cancer remotes were all over the place and a few Capricorns were bring nuclear doomsday to several small moons. This was what Alpha-555 could see at the moment, he had unleashed the Dominus' earlier and they were heavily engaged if not destroyed. Even with such a massive amount of firepower there was still a good chance you could run into something with even more fire power. Fight till you couldn't do it anymore was pretty much the only choice Alpha had at the moment. Homing beam projectors, scattering beam cannons, micro guided beam array, missiles, mass drivers and psychic boosted cannons were all unloading there packages of death at any nearby enemies. "Great White" still hadn't made its appearance but with the heavy concentrations of forces its presence may of been a mote point. Even with large internal stores the heavy usage of weapons were depleting the physical ammunition at an alarming rate.
