Tactical formations
Stratego doctrine called for the pawn classes to support themselves as one cohesive unit. To accomplish this many of the Aggressors would have a set load out to help them fulfill their role in the unit.
Hunter
Scout and vanguard of the unit. Equipped with a mix of ranged and melee weapon to deal with any threat they may encounter. Position usually reserved for seasoned veterans.
3 x any guns, 3 x melee weapons, 1 x shield, 2 x Fuel pod or B.O.Xs, 2 x missiles
Gunners
This position is tasked with short to medium range fire support. Armed with many guns this loadout was a nightmare to deal with in close in fire fights.
6 x any guns, 1 x melee, 1 x fuel or B.O.X., 2 x missiles
Grenadier
Position was tasked with suppressing targets too far for the Gunner to deal with. Not much in the way of accuracy this loadout was used for its artillery properties.
2 x Railguns, 2 x Guns, 2 x melee, 2 x B.O.X.s or fuel
Marauder
On the edge of the battlefield this position was used to strike at the enemy’s flank. Any target of opportunity was usually meet with an overwhelming force. Usually assigned to the most aggressive member of the unit.

Enforcer
Sticking around with the Hunters and grenadier this position acted as a bodyguard. Only the most hardened combat veteran were chosen for this position because when the S hit the fan they would look at this position to fall back on.

Sniper
This position is replicated in armies across many dimensions and ages. No surprise what this position was used for.

Enhanced Tactical formations
With the addition of the promoted pawn equipment many more tactical formations could be devised.
Heavy weapons-Gatling cannon and Bazooka equipped Tactical Aggressors

Hardened Hunter
This could be considered the proper commander load out. Able to deal with any situation encountered and with a heavy weapon equipped could provide impromptu fire support.

Hardened Gunners
Heavier fire support then usual, could fulfill the Grenadier position if need be. Acted as the bridge between these two positions.

Hardened Grenadier
Added to the already heavy load out of this position.

Hardened Marauder
Toughened enemy harasser.
1 x Heavy weapon,1 x any guns, 4 x any melee, 2 x fuel or B.O.X.s, 2 x missiles
Hardened Sniper
Allowed for the sniper position to rain down more death. Could overlap with the Grenadier position.

Ardent Hunter
With two heavy weapons this position was too cumbersome to be used for front line duty. Was usually placed just behind the hunters and in front of the gunners to provide heavy bombardment. Once their ammo were spent the gunner would quickly shift in to continue the onslaught.

Ardent Gunners
As much punch as a Grenadier but still lacking the range of a rail rifle this position was good for medium to long range fire support.

Ardent Grenadier
Extreme range fire support with a heavy mid range punch. Slowly becoming the standard load out for the Grenadier position.

Ardent Marauder
A new kind of tactic had to be adopted with this load out. The Ardent Marauder would open up with heavy weapons, eject the spent equipment and then finish off with melee attacks. Good flank attacking strategy but if things went wrong this load out had no short range guns to fall back on.

Ardent Sniper
Allowed for the sniper position to rain down more death. Could overlap with the Grenadier position.

Demi-Heavyarmed Hunter
Not a very popular load out due to the fact that with out a gun this position had no short range punch. In the right circumstances this load out could be useful.

Demi-Heavyarmed Gunners
Good balance between medium and close range fire support. Could only be used in open field conditions.

Heavyarmed Gunners
Did not have the range of the Grenadier but was even more destructive then an Ardent Grenadier. Was good in situation when firepower was more important then range.

Demolisher
The most firepower a Pawn class could posses. This position was almost always used in large battles were the tide of battle could be changed with a quick introduction of extreme firepower.

This could be considered the proper commander load out for urban environments.

Enforced Gunners
A little more punch in the close range area.

Enforced Grenadier
A Grenadier that could take care of itself when it came to some close in action.
2 x Railguns, 1 x Sweeper weapon, 1 x Guns, 2 x melee, 2 x B.O.X.s or fuel
Enforced Marauder
An ideal addition to the Marauder's arsenal. Added the close range punch necessary for this position.

Enforced Sniper
A sniper that could extract itself from sticky situations with prejudiced use of close in firepower.

Heavy Enforced Hunter
Good load out for the follow on TA behind the point man. Especially in urban environment were after initial contact heavy close in punch would most be needed.

Heavy Enforced Gunners
Good balance of close in and mid range punch. If heavy urban fighting is involved then this load out for the Gunner is preferred.

Heavy Enforced Grenadier
No mid range punch so had to wait for enemies to get close enough to use the sweeper weapons. Not a popular load out.

Heavy Enforced Marauder
The ideal load out for the Marauder position. The sweeper weapons were perfect for the close in brutality that this position required.
