Weapon options:
A. Main weapons
These weapons packed some serious offensive punch. More commonly found as the main guns of battleships these weapons could definitely make it a bad day for many an opponent. The special hard point to hold these weapons was specially reinforced for recoil as well as being able to articulate out of the way for transformation into equalizer mode. If need be all of these weapon options could be wielded 2 handily in equalizer mode.
1.Gabriel class plasma cannon
Nickname: Giga Fryer
4 x hard point f/ weapon pods
This fearsome plasma cannon could flood a large area of space with plasma in mere seconds. Thanks to the onboard antimatter reactors this weapon did not suffer from long recharge times like the Hayabusa version. It had 3 modes of firing: A quick long range sniper blast (1 second to charge), wide area of effect blast (2 seconds to charge, anti-fighter swarm) and a powerful concentrated anti-fleet blast (2 seconds to charge).
2.Anti-ship use pile bunker
Nickname: Giga poker
4 x hard point f/ weapon pods
The largest pile bunker type weapons wielded by a mecha. This massive weapon could easily punch thru a whole capital ship lengthwise if need be. It however needed to be used at extremely close range, which sometimes did not work out.
3.Anti-ship use mega sword
Nickname: Mega Excalibur
The largest bladed weapon made for an Ares forces mech. This massive sword could easily cut ships in half without using beam edge reinforcement. Carried under the Viggen in fighter mode it functioned as a small induction beam cannon. Though much weaker in power then a Giga fryer powered up (3 seconds to charge) it could knock out a capital ship in one shot. It also mounted several rapid firing beam guns around the blade for anti-fighter work. Lastly it could project a massive 100-meter beam blade used to cut thru battleship with ease.
4.350 mm anti-fleet gatling cannon
Nickname: Dakka Dakka
3 x hard point f/ weapon pods
This big bruiser of a gun could spit out 350 mm bullets guaranteed to knock out a capital ship. Much more destructive then the 250 mm variety, this size of ammunition was more commonly used to bombard planetary defense installations. The only bad side was the rate at which it could run thru ammo. To solve this problem battle boxes could be stored under the Viggen’s body and connected to the gatling cannon. A total of 2 battle boxes could be attached though the extra mass served to further dampen the manuverability of the Viggen.
5.300 mm rail gun
Nickname: Giga Hellspike
3 x hard point f/ weapon pods
This rail gun could spit out a large enough rod which could pass thru most lesser capital ships the long way! This was also on its weakest setting! Able to charge up the rails for quicker speeds a weak setting to go thru a capital ship only took .5 seconds. On the higher end a 4 second charge could impart enough kinetic energy to go thru even a heavily armoured capital ship like a Berserker class.
6.Extra extra large bore laser
Nickname: Mega flashlight
This extremely temperamental weapon is one of the most powerful directed energy weapon wielded by any Grand Alliance mecha. Able to even surpass a Gabriel class cannon in power this weapon is highly feared. Taking 15 seconds to charge, the beam it produces can either be no better then capital ship destroying or can come close to rivalling a solar flare. This weapon is not chosen by the faint of heart.
B. Side arms
Though classified as side arms the power of these weapons could make any heavy mecha jealous. Used for lesser targets these weapons added some more punch to the Viggen.
1.200 mm rail gun/chain sword
Nickname: Hell sword
A trusty, reliable 200 mm rail gun mated with a powerful chain sword system. This combined the efficient punch of a super hellspike with good close in ability.
2.Anti-ship use sword/tonfa/beam rifle
Nickname: Super Excalibur
This versatile melee weapon could be used as a devastating saber, used as a tonfa, a beam rifle and it could be combined together to form a heavier sword that could smash thru the heaviest of armour. Favoured by the type of pilot who wanted the most versatility.
3.150 mm submachine gun
Nickname: bullet hose
Spitting out 150 mm rounds at an extremely high rate these small guns could even take down a capital ship. Came with a under barrel bayonet. Compact, light, and reliable these guns were an easy favourite. Had enough ammo for 1 minute of continuous use.
4.200 mm plasma laser/ beam sword
Nickname: Hell fryer
Combined a super fryer with beam blade capability. Good choice in weapons that had infinite uses.
Misc Weapon systems
Attached under the barrels of main weapons, these weapon pods added some quick devastating punch. Analogues to under barrel grenade launchers for infantry.

C.WINGS Armour
These Weaponized InteGrated armour were the weapon pods, which most fitted the Viggen. In a pinch the Viggen could use Star Hornet or Haybusa weapon pods but WINGS were the weapon pods, which best matched the Viggens ability.
1.Masamune WINGS
2 x Antiship sword (contains 1 x beam rifle), 12 x 110 mm grenade launchers
Ability: Short-range speed burst
These WINGS were used for heavy melee engagements. A fine combination of short and ranged ability a Viggen equipped with these WINGS was as effective as a specialized melee mecha. The anti-ship swords were mounted on servo arms, which could either position the swords in front, to the side or dorsally like a shark fin. The servo arms could also slash the sword with enough force to cut a capital ship. The anti-ship swords could also detach and be used by the Viggen if all of its side arms or main weapon was destroyed. On top of this was the ability to gain short burst of added speed to surprise enemies.
2.Buster WINGS
2 x Gabriel class plasma cannons, 2 x beam spray pod, 2 x Dreadnaught class plasma cannon, 14 x tactical nukes

The heaviest weapon laddened wings in the Viggen inventory. These wings gave the Viggen nearly as much punch as a Berserker class capital ship.
3.Destroid WINGS
2 x 350 mm gatling cannons, 2 x 250 mm sniper cannon, 2 x tactical nuke missile array
Special ability: Enchanced AWAC system

The physical weapon version of the buster WINGS. The destroid WINGS were once again capable of unleashing an extremely large amount of firepower.
4.Hellswarm WINGS
96 x Vespa remote launchers (3 x super PAR)
Ability: Enhanced tracking (2 x tracking computer pods)
-20 Mach
Launching out a swarm of Vespa remotes these WINGS were the perfect bombardment equipment. The super PARs they contained could easily destroy other mega class mecha or even capital ships.
5.Zeus WINGS
2 x Zeus class electroshock cannons, 2 x EMP grenade launchers, 2 x 150 mm gatlings

These WINGS gave the Viggen the ability to disable mechs that weren’t shielded from EMPs. The electroshock cannons had two modes of firing: either a devastating bolt of lightning or a massive shock field which fried the electrical systems of enemy mechs. EMP grenades launcher allowed for this WING to disable enemies who got to close. To back up these somewhat temperamental systems were 2 regular 150 mm gatlings.
6.Mercury WINGS
Ability: added overdrive boosters
+10 Mach (cruising speed), +10 (Overdrive boosters)
Doing very little other then adding more speed to the already quick Viggen. Manuverability was somewhat enchanced thought the added speed turned the Viggen into more of a flying brick.
7.Omni WINGS
18 x weapon pods (contains 3 x misc weapon pods), 2 x side arms racks (hold 3 side arms), 2 x Super fryer, 2 x 150 mm gatling
Good all round wings to allowed the Viggen to be prepared for any situations. No real heavy weapons but good all range punch and versatility.
8.Duel WINGS
2 x large induction beam cannons, 2 x 60 mm gatlings, 4 x 110 mm missile array
Ability: enhanced manuverability
These WINGS optimised the performance of the Viggen in fighter mode. Able to now be as manuverable as it was fast these WINGS turned the Viggen into a fearsome dogfighter. The added punch from the integrated weapons was less important then the manuverability these wings offered.
9.Dervish WNGS
1 x Mega poker, 1 x close combat claw, 2 x 120 mm machine guns, 32 x shot launchers
-10 Mach
This WING was used to get at tough pesky targets such as fortifications and hardened mecha. The shot launchers were used to send out a hail of hardened spiked metal spheres, these would soften up the enemy. The combat claw would then fire out and either crush or reel the enmy in. Lastly the pile bunker would finish the enmy off if they were not destroyed already. Good WINGs but had to get in close to use them.
