Weapon pods
Optional pods attaching to the bottom of the Rivale these weapons gave the versatility and punch the Rivale was known for. With many options the Rivale could find itself well suited for any mission.
Some weapon pods could be doubled up and these are noted by the (2x) beside the name, otherwise they occupied the lower arm slot entirely.
1)Magnum (2x)
Nickname: Magnum
Heavy physical projectile weapon, good for close in situations not so much for range.
2)Bomblet dispenser (2x)
Nickname: Cherry bomb
Used to bomb lightly defended positions or vehicles. Not good for use against heavy armour.
3)Gatling (2x)
Nickname: Lead shower
General use gatling cannon, ubiquitous weapon found in many dimensions.
4)Cannon
Nickname: Bertha
Heavy, hard hitting medium range aerial artillery.
5)Laser guided bombs (2x)
Nickname: Smart dum-dum
Came in packs of two. Good for general precision bombing.
6)Bunker buster
Nickname: In-law
Self-guided cruise missiles for use against heavy bunkers.
7)Shock Cannon
Nickname: Parabellum
Planet based version of the infamous shock cannon. Good all round weapon.
8)Energy projector (2x)
Nickname: Pixie
Extra energy projector, could give the Rivale an unprecedent volume of fire.
9)Autocannon
Nickname: Sword
Good all round projectile weapon. Like the Punisher’s autocannon good all round specs but not really shining in any one area.
10)Sparrow Mk 4 (2x)
Nickname:Sparrow
Anti-air missile nuff said.
11)Hellfire Mk 5 (2x)
Nickname:Hellfire
Anti-ground missile
12)Rail gun
Nickname: Rod launcher
Deadly anti-ground cannon. Slow recharge times in between shot but the damage made up for this.
13)Bandit drop pod
Used by the Rivale to carry up to two Bandit class Strikers. Good for quick insertion ,missions.
14)Troop drop pod
Use to carry up to 5 tech troopers, good for quick delivery of infantry.
15)Iron bombs (2x)
Nickname:Dumb bombs, dumb-dumbs
Gravity dropped bombs, typical bombs used for centuries.
16)RPG racks (2x)
Nickname: Cracker jacks
Rapid fire, unguided grenade launchers. Good for a quick burst of suppressive fire.
