The acid family of weapons had horrible range but made up for this by being reactive against most organic and inorganic materials and due to a quirk of current shield technology could bypass most energy or particle shields. The acid supply could be regenerated if given enough time and as with Spine launchers adrenals could affect these weapons in the same way.

-Pistol
Another common pistol carried by most troops. Had a 15 second stream with 20 seconds to regenerate the supply from empty.
-Gusher
Fired out a wide area of effect spray in one shot, akin to an acid shotgun. Could fire 20 shots and needed 10 seconds to regenerate to full from empty.
-Sub machine gun
Very close in CQB weapon, had a 10 second stream with 10 seconds to regenerate supply from empty.
-Rifle
Not really chosen as a main rifle by many troopers unless the situation warranted it. 30 second stream with 10 seconds to regenerate back to full from empty.
-Spreader
Usually taken when facing swarms up close as this weapon had a wide spread with a large supply of acid. 60 second spray with 15 seconds to regenerate to full from empty.
-Spewer
The spreader on steroids this Spewer really lived up to the name. Range was somewhat increased for an acid weapon. Had a 2 minute spray with 20 seconds to regenerate to full from empty.
