Development history

One of the units developed by the rogue Count Deathspecter. Wanting to be able to strike space, air, land and sea, this unit fulfilled Deathspecter’s naval ambitions. It mounted fairly standard armament of a heavy attack submarine, though the addition of heavy energy weapons insured that it could destroy opposing enemy marine units easily. As an added bonus the watery enviroments that Grand Arms Penguin would be exposed to cooled these weapons effectively. For faust weaponry it mounted 2 Baby faust which were equivalent to very fast guided missiles. They also were armed with extremely heavy warheads and were used to knock out naval instillations.

The Speed of Penguin was much faster then any marine unit at this time. This was due to using super-cavitation (formation of an air bubble around the hull of a submerged body) to reduce the friction of the water. Therefore high mach speeds were possible. This technology allowed for the Penguin to get in fast, strike hard, and get out before the enemy could see what was happening. This speed was also used to ram enemies.

This would serve as Deathspecter’s main marine unit until the introduction of Grand Arms Posideon.
