Firing out a coherent beam of neutrally charged particles this family of weapons are known for their damage and "sweeping" qualities. Like Gauss weaponry, beam weaponry has a firing sequence that must be completed before it is ready to cycle another shot again. This sequence takes up to three seconds and in this time the beam is usually swept across ranks of enemy forces completely wiping out platoons of combatants.
Accuracy: good
Ammo capacity: ok
Range: great
Damage: great
Fire rate: great (no snap shot)
Pistol
A good small arm for firing generally into the enemy. Not a weapon for tactical shooting this pistol was usually used to cause enemy combatants to keep their heads down.
Rifle
Used to rake across the rank of enemy combatants, this rifle could cause massive damage to mixed forces of infantry, harnesses, frames and even light mecha.
Lancer
Used for anti mech or tank duties. Unlike the other beam weapons the whole discharge of one shot was usually trained onto a target until completion instead of being swept.
