Showing the technological superiority of the commonwealth this weapon fired out solid spears of light. Able to pierce their way thru most materials, it was hard for conventional armor to stand up to this family of weapons. The big downside of this weapon family was that other then good penetration qualities no secondary effects were caused on the target and thus a large target such as a tank or mecha could still function if the crew was not directly targeted.

Pistol
Good all around sidearm for most situations.
SMG
Good all around CQC (close quarter combat) weapon for tight spaces. Good fire rate with good penetration ability.
Rifle
Good rifle that had the range to also double as a DMR (designated marksman rifle) or even a sniper weapon. Almost favored as the common rifle Legionnaires would carry.
Guided rifle
This weapon could have projectiles of hardlight follow a target as long as the operator was still painting the target with the designator. A tricky weapon to master, used for heavily armored targets that moved quickly.
Lancer
Used to fire large rounds of hardlight thru heavy armor.
