Armor options

If the base armour is not good enough other alterations can be added to modify the Tyrant for more uses.

A. Re-entry armour

Not only does this option make a Tyrant capable of independt atmospheric re-entry but also ups the armour class of the Tyrant. The only negative is the decreased overall speed of the unit.

B. Defensive swarm nest

This option creates many nests on the body of the Tyrant. On command the Tyrant can then release a swarm of near mindless larva to both intercept shots and act as a buffer to prevent infantry swarming. The swarm of larva can be replaced every 15 minutes which adds to the usefulness of this living meat shield augmentation.

C. Cyst launcher

The entire body can be covered in cyst that can spew out deadly crystalline shards. This augmentation is excellent for anti-infantry uses. The cyst unfortunately does not regenerate after use. It is thoerised that Collective scientists are working on a regenerating version.
