This family of weapons used rapid movements of metallic appendages against a excitable base to generate a massive amount of static electrical charge. The release of this charge came out as violent burst of lightning that could flash vaporize or electrocute most targets. The one major drawback was the time needed to build up the necessary charge. This weapons is seeing more widespread use in Shoruded forces especially against cybernetic or robotic opponents.
