Even with the great power wielded by all observed Shadow Obscura operatives and lords, some see the need to let lesser beings deal with pawns rather then involve themselves. Made from a combination of technology scoured from all corners of the multiverse these “pawns” are some of the deadliest units encountered by Grand Arms and Alliance forces. It is known that many of these units are made by the so called “Engineer” (classified as unit 17), it is not known what price a Shadow Obscura lord or operative has to pay for the “Engineer’s” service. The results are known though, total and complete destruction of vast areas of space, and this is even before the actual Shadow Obscura has fired a shot. Not all operatives or lords will use these so called faceless units but those that do are that much harder to deal with.
