Our essential question this week is this: What can happen when we work together? Tell mom or dad (or whoever is helping you with your at home learning) at least two things that can happen when you work together with friends or siblings. God has blessed you with friends and family; He wants you to work together in peaceful and loving ways!
Watch to learn the two new vocabulary words (decide and opinion) you need to know before reading/watching What's the Big Idea, Molly? Be ready to practice these two words and use them in sentences this week. In your opinion, should you decide to work together with people? Tell why or why not!
Strategy: Predict and Infer: Remember that good readers use what they have read or heard, as well as things they already know to get more out of the text than the author says. Good readers also check to make sure that their predictions match the text - and if they don't, then good readers revise their predictions.
Skill: Sequence of Events: As a reminder, things in fiction and nonfiction texts occur in a particular order that helps the reader make sense of the information. This is called the sequence of events.

One of our favorite things to do at the end of kindergarten is to create a memory book. This is a May Do activity but we encourage each student to do one because it's such a special keepsake. Each day there will be 2-3 pages; you can do them all or pick and choose! Have fun!
