Your Turn: Read this weeks story in the small read book. It is called The Joy of a Ship. Find the page number by using the Table of Contents, Unit 5 week 5. As you read be sure to ask yourself questions about the text and see if your questions are answered. See if you can identify any cause and effect parts to the story.

Today you will draw and describe two rocks using what you've learned about rock properties! Take a look at the video for an example of what "Draw and Describe" looks like.

Using materials around your house, getcreative a build something! It could be a rocketship out of toothpicks or a Barbie house out of blocks. Use what you have to make whatever you want. Be sure to take a photo or video and send it to your homeroom teacher! Explain what you made and how you made it!
Help elderly neighbors by doing some yard work for them. You could help by pulling weeds or getting rocks our of the grass. Be sure to have your parents as for permission first!
You could also bless them by doing some sidewalk art or a note to let them know how awesome they are!
Protection: Faithful - God watches over people who are faithful to Him. Even though we may not feel like God is there, these verses promise us that He is. Sometimes being afraid is normal. You don’t have to fear anything - not people, or places, or even Satan - because God has more power than anyone. He will take care of you. Trust God to protect you, and you will have peace in every situation.
