Today you will be reading about General Ulysses S. Grant, the leader of the Union army, and General Robert E. Lee, the leader of the Confederate army. You will also be reading about being a soldier. As you read, compare the life of a Union soldier and a Confederate soldier and find at least one difference between the two. Highlight or underline those differences.

Find a good chapter book!
1. Read your chapter book for 30 minutes+.
