Listen to Mrs. Colburn read our Big Book story for this week. This story will help you learn more about our country! You might get hungry for some popcorn while watching this video (look closely).
- Watch & Learn: The story for this week is Ana Goes to Washington, D.C. Our comprehension strategy this week is Monitor and Clarify, and our skill is Main Idea. Listen/watch for enjoyment, and be listening for those vocabulary words!
- Practice: IF there is something you don't understand or that isn't clear as you are listening, go back and listen again (reread!) to clarify! Try to figure out the main idea of this story.
- May Do: Read for 2o minutes or do Lexia for 15 minutes.

- Watch & Learn: Have your child practice Greater Than and Less Than with the Jack Hartman video.
- Practice: Print and complete the Greater Than or Less Than practice page below. Write the correct symbol in each circle. Take a picture of the completed worksheet and send it to your child's teacher by email or Remind. For extra practice, your child can write the numbers themselves on a piece of paper then write the correct symbol between them. This is a great chance to practice writing numbers in the correct direction!
- May do: Use Zearn/ST math (whichever your teacher uses) for 15 minutes.

- Watch and Learn: Listen to today's devotional again, or the God's Story in the "May Do" activities below, and think about how you could share The Triumphal Entry in your Writer's Workshop story today.
- Practice: Write at least 2 sentences about Palm Sunday. Illustrate Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a donkey and the crowd waving palm tree branches.
- May Do: Towards the bottom of this day is a Palm Branch craft you can make!
